These terms cover your use of this website, the free headshot audit tool, and the process of booking a session with Babz Studios, operating as Persona Headshots in Calgary, Alberta (“we”, “us”). Using the site means you accept them.
Booking a session
An enquiry is not a booking. Sending the contact form, or having a discovery call, does not reserve a date. A session exists once we have confirmed it with you in writing.
Prices shown on this site — individual sessions from $350, $549, and $699 CAD, team sessions from $279 CAD per person, additional images at $75, and rush delivery at $150 — are starting prices in Canadian dollars. The price that applies to you is the one confirmed in writing when you book. Site prices can change at any time; a price already confirmed for your booking does not.
What you receive is set at booking. As a general guide, sessions run 60–90 minutes and deliver between 5 and 20 fully retouched images, with the exact number confirmed for your session type. Delivery is normally within 72 hours of your image selections, and rush delivery within 24 hours of selections is available for the add-on fee above.
Payment is in Canadian dollars, by credit card or e-transfer.
Cancellation and rescheduling
We do not publish a fixed cancellation window or deposit policy on this site, and you should not infer one from anything written here. The cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit terms that apply to your session are the ones set out in your booking confirmation. If you need to move a date, tell us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate it.
Your photographs
- Copyright in the photographs made during your session stays with the photographer, which is the default position under the Copyright Act of Canada.
- You receive a licence to use your images. Its scope — personal, professional, or commercial use — is confirmed with your booking.
- We will not use your images in our portfolio, on this site, or in any marketing without agreeing it with you separately.
The free headshot audit
The audit tool is offered free, with no obligation on either side.
Acceptable use
Submit only a photograph you own or otherwise have the right to submit, showing you or someone who has agreed to it. Do not submit another person’s photograph without their permission, anything unlawful, or anything that is not a headshot. Do not automate or bulk-submit through the tool. We may decline a submission, limit use of the tool, or withdraw it entirely, at any time and without notice.
What the audit is
The critique is generated by an automated AI system reviewing your photograph, and it is an opinion — a machine-generated one. It can be wrong, it can miss something obvious, and two similar photographs can score differently. Treat it as the start of a conversation, not a finding of fact.
What it is not
It is not professional, career, legal, or business advice, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome — not job offers, not profile views, not enquiries, not anything else. What you do with it is your decision. How the photograph itself is handled is set out in our privacy policy.
This website
The text, photographs, and design on this site belong to Babz Studios. You are welcome to read, quote, and link to it. You may not copy it wholesale, scrape it, or reuse the photographs.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Liability
To the fullest extent Alberta law allows, our total liability to you in connection with this site, the audit tool, or a session is limited to the amount you have actually paid us for that session. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, lost opportunities, or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in full in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of Alberta.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. The terms that apply to a booking are the ones in force when that booking was confirmed.
